Shaolin Kung fu vs. Brazilian Jiu jitsu ?
I would go for the BJJ fighter. I agree with everything that's been said before about the fight being won or lost based on the individuals, but in a one-on-one fight between 2 hypothetical, equally trained and skilled fighters, I think the BJJ fighter would win. The BJJ fighter will have fairly decent defence against strikes, probably enough to allow him enough time to take down the kung fu fighter. Once on the ground its all over and it doesn't matter how flexible/strong/fast you are, BJJ will win as the whole principle behind it is technique and leverage not strength (on you tube there's a fight between a small BJJ fighter against a mive bodybuilder and once on the ground the BJJ guy got the submission despite the obvious strength advantage of the bodybuilder).
