UCI or Community college. Appreciate all the help. Really really need the help only 2 days to decide.?

I got accepted to the UC Irvine but i dont know if this is an overall good school. What are they best known for. Should i go to uci or go to a community college then transfer to to like UCLA. I was wondering if its better to go straight to UCI or go to a community college the transfer. I also got some money from UCI about $14,000. Whats the better choice.
