How do I START off as a CNA?

Ok I completed a CNA course with American Red Cross in July. I have been searching fo a job and there are TONS of them out there but everyone wants ATLEAST 1 yr exp. I dont plan on being a CNA for the rest of My life I actually want to be a RN or an Occupational Therapist. I am trying to get my foot in the door and because of so many CNAS who have neglected patients...Its become harder and harder for people like myself to get a jumpstart in this type of position because they are making it harder for recent graduates to apply to jobs like this with no prior exp..WHAT DO I DO?
