If i have a red birthmark on my forehead, what does it signify?

why in the world do i have a red birthmark in my forehead?? my mother also does.it's shape is oval and it's right in the center of my forehead, from the top right down to the center of my eyebrows. when i get warm or when i cry it turns so red, .. my friends sometimes tease me they call it "chakra" -just like in the animation NARUTO... pls help, who could explain the science behind this???
