What would be a suitable college laptop for engineering?

Buy a used laptop with XP (Vista is Sh*t) at least 1.8Ghz proc. and 2Gb of ram whatever laptop that came with those 3 features will be cheap reliable and have the specs to run COD4, and if it can run that game then it wont have a problem running AutoCad
