I agree with everything that's been said before about the fight being won or lost based on the individuals, but in a one-on-one fight between 2 hypothetical, equally trained and skilled fighters, I think the BJJ fighter would win. The BJJ fighter will have fairly decent defence against strikes, probably enough to allow him enough time to take down the kung fu fighter. Once on the ground its all over and it doesn't matter how flexible/strong/fast you are, BJJ will win as the whole principle behind it is technique and leverage not strength (on you tube there's a fight between a small BJJ fighter against a mive bodybuilder and once on the ground the BJJ guy got the submission despite the obvious strength advantage of the bodybuilder).

They can get pretty bad. I had some Nikes before and without thinking about it wore them in a creek,then they were all dirty from the water so I lied them outside to dry (by the way I was at a camp) then forgot them when I left and nobody saw them. If I have shoes I need to get rid of and are trashed, I either throw them away (if they are really bad) or take them to the drop box (if somebody could still wear them). I hope I helped! :)

Those pitchers are hard to find but they don't need another shutdown guy like Lee, they just need a reliable pitcher or pitchers they can put put every 5th day. This is why I always thought the Yankees were better because they have pitchers other than CC than can be counted on and they have a Closer that can be counted on. The Phillies have one Starting Pitcher and no bullpen. The Offense isn't the problem for the Phillies but Howard Striking out in the big moment is. I always thought his strikeout would come back to haunt him and they have. He always says it is not a big deal but when you strike out as nuch as he does it is a big deal. He needs to work on that if he wants to have a Hall of Fame career. You don't have to be Albert Pujols at the plate but you can't strike out close to 200 times a year.

Why Can I Not Sleep?

For a few weeks now the most sleep I've gotten is 3 hours. I have tried music, baths, stretching, warm milk, my best friend even tried talking to me for a while, but no luck. A medium active dog small enough to live in an apartment happily, but not so small they could be carried or cleaned up after inside would help tremendously because these illnesses produce pain and sometimes depression which amotivates the client from the activity necessary for the slowing and treatment of their disease. For complex reasons, a small hound (Dachshunds are sometimes too small or not active enough, Beagles too active and large, toy Q.E.'s are out of the question, but mini's seem promising) would do the trick. That's when I learned about Q.E.'s and the controversery. If only a "small number" of dogs are bred for working, why not limit deliberate breeeding of dogs to working dogs only?

Car Accident Help In California?

Today, I was involved in a car accident. I was going through an intersection (going straight). My light had turned yellow and a car turning left hit me on the front driver side fender. He is now claiming that he has neck issues and was taken to the hospital (after he cussed me out even though he hit me). I have a witness who saw him hit me, but it will take 7-10 days for the official police report. I just want to know what may happen in the police report. He had 2 other adults in the car who are "backing him up" where I only had my 4 year old daughter (who is fine). His car is way more damaged than mine (hood folded up pretty good) where as he hit my front right wheel causing the bumper to come off and the anti freeze compartment to be damaged and cause leakage. I'm just wondering what may happen??? It's hard waiting for the official report because you don't know what the other people are saying....

How to care of umbilical cord?

Okay so I just had my baby four days ago, thing were going fine but now I don't know if I'm overreacting to his umbilical cord. So I'm cleaning with alcohol wipes like the doctor told me, every time I change his diaper. Yes, they can sense things...my cat always knows when i'm not feeling myself and always cuddles with me, it is so cute. She also knows when I call her name, and she meows back to me each time. As for your apartment situation, i'm glad you didn't take that apartment. I know now that i've had my cat for her full 2 years of life (well except for the first 8 weeks) I couldn't part with her now.

What should I do if my Xbox 360 is scratching my games?

My warranty for my xbox 360 is over and I have already had it fixed for the RROD, but since it has been "fixed" my games have been freezing up or saying disc is unreadable. What I notice when this occurs is that the system starts to make an almost grinding sound and then the error message occurs, or it just freezes. I looked at the discs that have been freezing and see many scratches all over them but I take good care of them putting them in their case every time. Xbox customer support has been little help and I don't think I should pay microsoft $90 to get it fixed when its not a guarantee that it would not break again. Any other suggestions?

Eating habits keeping me up at night?

I'm 28 and weight 210 lbs. (97kilos) down from 240. I am currently working out everyday by running either 3-4 miles or swimming 1000-1200 meters and lifting weights. I met with a nutritionist to examine my eating patterns and she told me my high sugar consumption at night is keeping me up. I usually drank about a bottle of red wine before sleep which also lead to binge eating. Before this I would usually drink some dark beers (stouts or porters like Guinness). Could this really account for my trouble with sleeping? (BTW, I've seriously cut back my consumption of alcohol but still have issues with sleep and binge eating after 9.) Could this be a sugar or alcohol withdrawal? Any suggestions?

Jack russell puppy with high liver values, and even higher after medication for a month?

Last month I took my Jack Russell puppy to the vet to be spayed at 6 months of age. They ran pre-op bloodwork and found the liver values were high, and did the more extensive liver tests for the bile acids. These were abnormal as well and she was put on Adenosyl for a month. This morning I took her back for the re-check to and be spayed this time. The pre-op labs were even higher this time. Now they're feeding her and going to recheck the bile acids again today. I was told if she ate something toxic or if it was anything environmental, the meds would have helped it, and that this sounds like it's more of a liver disease, possibly a shunt. They told me they were going to send these labs out to a special lab to be processed, and that we would need to see a specialist for possibly an abdominal ultrasound or liver biopsy. I have been researching liver shunts and sounds like surgery is the best option. Does anyone have experience with this with their jack russell? She has had no symptoms whatsoever, besides once in awhile loose stools and I noticed once her urine was dark. Besides that she has seemed very healthy, normal jack russell energy, and has been eating (only eats puppy Eukanuba, no human food) and drinking normally. She is like our child and I'm getting very upset with this news. Any advice??

QUESTION: there is a beaker full of water, sand, salt, and metal scraps. the object is to get all of the separate things in their own beaker. Thing is, you can't use your hands to get them out. For instance, you can separate the sand and metal by poring the beaker into a strainer catching the water and salt ( which is salt water by now) in another container at the bottom. then use a magnet to sift out the metal and then put the sand and metal into separate containers. but how do i separate the salt and water??? what machine can i use???

Should we euthanize our elderly male dog since he's getting grumpy and growls at our younger dogs?

We've had Duke since 2003 and he's now 11 in people years. He's always been good natured and just a sloppy old dog... St.Bernard/Chow Mix. For the past couple of months since we moved from our old home, he's been snappy and growls at the other dogs when they walk by him or he thinks they're gonna eat his food. Well I will make a long story short. My oldest daughter has had a handful of seizures in her life time (she is 8 now) We have taken her to some great Dr's that specialize in pediatric neurology, they have all been great but no answers, they have all said that she will probably end up out growing this. Well her little sister is 4 and had her first seizure this summer. Has any other mom been through this and got an answer of what was going on? They have completely ruled out epilepsy. Like I said I was just looking to see if any other mom was going through something similar. Its very hard and emotional for me sometimes not to have any answers.

Why is my car's right wheel makes a noise when i back up ?

Either your wheel is loose or you painted part of your rotor and by doing that your brake pads are grabbing every time the rotor makes contact with your brake pads. You should have taken you rotors off to paint. The paint will eventually wear of after a couple of stops at a decent speed 20 miles on hour or higher. Best of luck.

Landlord wont give security deposit back!!!!?

We leased an apartment in alabama while my hubby was working there. We did our research on apartments and found one we wanted to live in. We made an appointment and went to look at the apartments with the property manager. We went to the apartment we would be leasing and she couldn't get the door open because the dead bolt was jammed and had to be replaced. The maintenance guy came out to replace the lock the next day. There were two ladies in our apartment cleaning and painting for 2 days, the day after we signed our lease. My husband and I stopped by both days it took to get the apartment ready for us to move in to check on the property to fit our move in requirements. We befriended the ladies cleaning and painting since they were our age. There was NO property condition report for our apartment. Upon move out we cleaned our apartment top to bottom (verbal agreement for LL). The land lord inspected our apartment that night and told the cleaning crew that the apartment was immaculate and no cleaning or repairs were to be made. I never received a letter regarding my deposit 35 days (state law) after we vacated the property and had to call and request one. The letter states that we have to pay for Cleaning and Carpet Cleaning even though the apartment was cleaned upon verbal agreement when we left. She says the ceiling fans and bath tub needed cleaning. She says it is in our lease that the carpets must be cleaned when we vacate, however our carpets were not cleaned when we moved in. She says she has a receipt for the cleaned carpets before we moved in but has failed to present it to me to date. There is NO possible way the carpets were cleaned in the two days the apartment was being prepared because I was there both days!!!! The dead bolt was broken and no one had a way to enter the property. Thats why it took 2 extra days for the apartment to be cleaned. She's fibbing to my face! Legally she has 35 days to present me with a notice of inspection, and my refunded deposit and has failed to do so. What should I do so I don't get scammed out of my $500 deposit? I have 4 witnesses (the cleaning crew) that will vouch that the condition of the apartment was indeed immaculate after we left. The land lord is changing all of our verbal agreements and saying that she never said any of it! We thought we could trust her because she was referred as a great and lord. What now? Thanks so much for all your help. (There were no pictures taken before or after by the LL or by us. Our cleaning friend would know of any pictures taken and it's a negative.)

I think he's said some pretty stupid stuff. First off, he talks about himself in the third person which may or may not think he likes hearing his name. Finally, his comments after losing in the NBA Finals and how his statement was thought of how highly he thinks of himself. He just needs to shut up and let his game speak. I don't like his personality but I do think he is the best basketball player on the planet right now and has the potential to become a top five player of all-time but I think mentally he isn't that strong. He seems very pive and I think he needed to shoot more in the Finals. He has all of these physical gifts to just be unstoppable but the way he plays doesn't use those gifts to their full potential. Home made baby products, wipes? honey chunks?

I am making my own diaper wipes- I use cheap washclothes cut in half. I toss in w/ my cloth diapers and wash every 3 days. I use about 1tbl. cider vinegar, I tbl. baby soap, 1 tbl. oil (jojoba, baby oil), 4 drops of tea tree oil and a few cups of water. It's supposed to be good to treat sensitive skin as well as help kill yeast. For moisturizer I use pure jojoba oil, and castile soap (Dr Bronner's).

14 years old and never kissed a girl. HELP!?

I'm a 14 and a half year old guy and me and my friends just finished year 9. To celebrate we decided to go to the movies. (Harry potter! XD) anyway... We were about half way through the film and I turned to my friend to comment on a funny reference in the movie, only to notice that he was practically eating his new girlfriends face. This happened a lot during the movie, which I am fine with. Only, after all the hi-fives and bad puns I started felling sad/jealous... (not so much jealous as sad) sad/jealous that he was younger than me and I had never even gotten close to kissing a girl. Me being one of the smarter people in school doesn't help me either because their are only two girls that I enjoy socializing with because a lot of the other girls in my year just take one look at me rule me out completely. I HATE flies! How can I get rid of the flies in my bathroom?

This is going to sound crazy, but try it anyway--I was amazed that this worked.. Get 2 ziploc bags and some pennies. fill the bag up with water and pennies and tape them to the window and the mirror in the bathroom. This keeps flies from coming in. To get them out, I would try lavender oil and spray it everywhere, but especially along the baseboards and any cracks. Basil and bay leaves also work well. The cleaner its kept, the less flies. Also, try moving the trashcan out for a few weeks, or tying the bag in the trashcan up everytime its used. Hope this helps.

Mm I don't know. Maybe they feel that if they don't go through the bonding experience when the child is born that they can't connect with it. I am cleaning my bathroom and I want to organize all of my skincare products in catagories. I stack the bins I have on a shelf thing, and I dont know if I should put all my body things in one bin, all my face stuff in another bin, and all my hair stuff in another bin etc., but then there are so many different types of body things like body lotion, body scrubs, body wash ect., so should I put all the scrubs in one bin, and all the lotions in another bin too, but then should those bins also include the face scrubs and face lotions? I heard this answer one time, and in it's way, it's funny but true. Why don't Christians believe in evolution? Because they haven't done it yet. Evolution is real and continues on everyday, even if the changes are so slow and minute that we can't physically see it happening, just look around. Social and cultural evolution are always happening. No "all mighty" hand in it at all. People evolve due to climate and location in order to survive. The ridiculousness, is to think that this is all being guided by a single, male deity with a mive ego, giving no respect to the evolutionary aspect and process of nature itself.

My puppy is human agressive?!?

my 3 month old rotweiller/doberman mix is extremely viscious.. well im not gona lie... the reason hes viscious is because my lilttle brother who is 17 and a immature little s.h.i.t.. keeps on smackin him hard and punching him an smacking him hard of the bed.. and i feel really bad wen he does that.. an now the puppy snaps on me.. an my little sisters which are 7 and 10.. he charges up an then growls an then runs after ppl and bites there legs.. i was plannin on puttin him in obedience cl.. an my brother said he will stop hittin it an he stopped but ever since he did... its becomin an animal... i got it a crate an he sleeps next to me everyday wen hes in his crate.. an everytime i take him out of his crate... he attacks.. i put him food.. he then tips his bowl over, and starts too charge up attack style an eat the food 1 by 1.. i give him a squeeky toy to play, and he plays with it an loves it.. but today he isnt its unusual.. he just growls when i put my head next to him and then barks and runs after me.. should i sell him.. or should obedience cl take away his agressivness.. i dont wanna hurt the dog... i feel bad:(

I had a dream as if my little sister was playing in a garden with another baby, who i had a bad feeling about. And as time went by, I saw my sister look worse and the other baby look better. Then my sister started to look like the exorcist and i got really scared. Then i somehow figured out that the baby that was playing with my sister was a demon and was sucking the soul out of her until she was dead. My sister was demonically possessed. And for some reason, this demon had an affect on other members of my family as well. When the demon would look at one of my family members and jerk his head, the family members head and back would violently jerk back so powerfully their back would break. The demon was also looking like the exorcist at this point. I also remember that i was the only one who could help my baby sister because apparently i was the strongest soul and could withstand anything the demon decided to do to me. And i remember laying on my bed crying (still in the dream) when i heard the demon chanting and then i knew he was preforming the ceremony needed to take the rest of my sisters soul. Then i walked out of the door and looked at the demon saying "MY SISTER!" I remember not being able to say it the first few times. Then I took my sister and saw that she was dead, so i hit and pushed the demon and every time i breathed, he would jerk his head and so would my family, and after that, I woke up breathing heavily and my chest was burning for some reason. Oh and also right before i woke up, when i was at the phase where you are still asleep but you're conscious i THOUGHT about defeating the demon by taking his eyes out and stepping on them, and when i did so, the demon would separate slowly turning into black smoke and black sand (or maybe it was ash). Please tell me what this dream means because it really freaked me out.

I am a young teen, and as a kid, I slouched a lot and had horrible posture. Now that I stand up straight, there's a vertical line in the middle of my stomach from where it used to be rolls. I am very self-concious of it now, because it even shows up in pictures and videos. Since I have quite a while until someone will see me in a swimsuit again, I would like to try a slow, gradual fix. i think so. to become combat lifesaver certified you used to have to give an iv. they changed it so now you dont have to to get certified. wether they actually want you to do it in bct is up to your commander. but it really isnt a big deal. its actually pretty cool and simple when you do it.

they frequently vomit hair, food, everything! its horrible they always clean each other so the hair build up i've tried the petroleum stuff the vet gives you in the toothpaste like tube. i've tried shaving them (which helped a little) and brushing them. they currently eat purina cat chow adult they are 4 yrs. old and its always been a problem. i dont know what else to do any ideas?

If a source trys to deal damage to a creature considered "indestructible" does it still deal the damage but not kill it, or does it just not do anything to it at all. for example, if i have an indestructible nested goul and my prodigal pyromancer taps to try to deal the 1 damage, does it do the damage or just leave it uneffected.

She knows that it would be in her and her daughter’s best interest not to have the father around if they can come up with a parenting plan with out going to court. A good mother should never ask for child support if she can do with out it and should not be greedy. A child is more imported than child support. She basically makes her daughter visit her father almost every Saturday, and makes her give her father the same respect that you give a judge in his court room. Her father in return will give her mother full say in her upbringing and not go to court. He is not a good father, but since he is not a danger to the little girl (he will never abuse his daughter) and treads her mother and the little girl in a diplomatic friendly manner. She sees no harm in it. It will actually teach her a good lessen and not make the same mistake he makes. You can’t raise a child properly if you bad mound the father. He gives the father more than what she is legally required to give him, and still not ask for child support. Most lawyers would advice a man in this case to not even go to court. Most men rights activist in the US that support men equally rights will never take a child away from her mother in this case and think that this a fair deal.
